Now in its eighth successful year, the Marina Bay Financial Centre ALB SE Asia Law Awards 2012 recognises the excellence and outstanding achievements of SE Asia's leading law firms and in-house legal teams as well as the top deals and dealmakers of 2011. The Awards attracts over 300 of SE Asia's most influential solicitors, in-house counsel, investment bankers, judiciary and CEOs, who assemble to celebrate with the winners as they accept their awards on stage. The event is the culmination of the months of intensive research that precede this important event. Winners remain confidential until the awards ceremony itself, where they are revealed over a gala black-tie dinner.

A Reuters journalist with more than 15 years financial reporting experience, Tara Joseph currently leads the financial multimedia unit, Reuters Insider in Asia. Tara has more than 7 years experience reporting and presenting for TV in Asia, including daily shows for BBC World and China’s CCTV. She has moderated numerous webcasts and panel events including shows hosted at the World Economic Forum in Davos. She was previously the editor and main presenter of Reuters Financial Television based in London. Tara is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism, and Smith College in the United States. She serves on the Board of Governors and professional committee for the Foreign Correspondent’s Club in Hong Kong.
